Ball couplings 80 can be supplied as flange coupling, height-adjustable slider, ball drawbar or towing frame with ball. The ball coupling dimensions and field of application complying with ISO 24347, VO (EU) 2015/208 and regulation UN ECE R147, class a80. In its normal state, the device is in coupled and locked position.The range of application extends to the use on agricultural or forestry vehicles, self-propelled work machines or trailers.

Suitable for connection to ball-type trailer shanks 80 according to ISO 24347.

Only applies to the ball kit. The surrounding construction or the installation plate must be designed for the support load by the respective manufacturer/specialist workshop. The D value and the permissible support load of the hitch or support frame must be observed. The lower value in each case is valid. When installing the ball kit in a carrying device, the relevant regulations (e.g. UVV vehicles) and the attachment guidelines of the vehicle manufacturer must be observed! The ball kit must be type-approved together with the carrying device (e.g. ball bar, hitch block). Please refer to the requirements of §27 StVZO regarding the data in the vehicle documents with regard to the permissible trailer load. For installation in the area of validity of the StVZO of the Federal Republic of Germany, the installation must be approved by a technical inspection authority. The installation of the ball kit must only be carried out by an authorized workshop. Installation in accordance with the operating and installation instructions.

All components are designed specifically for the device and performance and it is not allowed to exchange for components other than those prescribed by Walterscheid. Damaged or missing parts can only replace with original Walterscheid parts and retrofit them in accordance with regulations and after consultation with Walterscheid.
The assignment, assembly and use of this model requires a detailed preliminary examination by qualified personnel. It is imperative to check the existing facilities and all of the machinery and equipment for their suitability for attachment. In particular, the characteristic values (e.g. vertical and pulling loads or torques) and the geometries (e.g. dimensions, screw hole patterns, free spaces) must be observed. Depending on the existing equipment of the machine, this can result in the use or purchase of additional components. The content of operating instructions must be observed.
