Product advantages
The Walterscheid Connected Service Counter is a retrofittable sensor solution for recording operating hours for all agricultural machines driven by Walterscheid PTO shafts. The WCS Counter thus offers maximum flexibility for retrofitting on all PTO drive shafts, regardless of the age, manufacturer or type of machine. This means that the entire fleet can be retrofitted with the system, so that the machine operating hours can be precisely recorded and the maintenance can be optimally carried out for all machines.
The Counter can be attached to the guard tube of a PTO shaft in a few simple steps and records the operation hours of the machine and the PTO shaft contactless. The battery-operated radio system records the actual operating time of the machine in motion as well as the operating time of the PTO shaft and transmits this information via Bluetooth® to mobile devices in the surrounding on which the WCS Assistant is installed. The operating hours thus provided are recorded by the smartphone and made available to all employees in the WCS Assistant app.

Intended Use
The Walterscheid Connected Service (WCS) Counter detects the operating conditions of drive shafts andtransmits the operating time via Bluetooth® to the WCS Assistant App. The WCS Counter is installed on the outer guard tube of the drive shaft.
The drive shaft must meet the following requirements:
• The guard tube and the entire protective equipment of the drive shaft are complete and undamaged,
• The guard tube is secured against rotation,
• Use only on WALTERSCHEID drive shafts.
WARNING
If the WCS Counter is not assembled and used correctly, children and other persons can be seriously injured and material damage may occur. An ingested battery can be fatal.
• Keep the WCS Counter and battery out of the reach of children.
• Follow the instruction manual and instructions in the WCS App.
• Protect the WCS Counter against heat (>70 °C) and fire. Do not throw into fire.

All components are designed specifically for the device and performance and it is not allowed to exchange for components other than those prescribed by Walterscheid. Damaged or missing parts can only replace with original Walterscheid parts and retrofit them in accordance with regulations and after consultation with Walterscheid.
The assignment, assembly and use of this model requires a detailed preliminary examination by qualified personnel. It is imperative to check the existing facilities and all of the machinery and equipment for their suitability for attachment. In particular, the characteristic values (e.g. vertical and pulling loads or torques) and the geometries (e.g. dimensions, screw hole patterns, free spaces) must be observed. Depending on the existing equipment of the machine, this can result in the use or purchase of additional components. The content of operating instructions must be observed.
